Default Just bought a 96 SLS, few small problems

So i just bought a 1996 SLS with 125k and there just seems to be a few small problems. Im 18 and im likin the cadillac so far but i hear wayyy too many people tell me to "throw some d's on the bitch" and its getting annoying. But anyway here are some of the problems i seem to have...

1. The car seems to stutter? Like pull back and forth whenever I hit 3000RPM, almost like it cant switch gears. I bought this from a dealership and they said that the problem went away when they replaced the wires. But maybe i shouldt trust them? or maybe it might be something else. I only really notice this in 3rd gear.

2. On the inside of the car i get that burning smell when i start driving the car at higher speeds.

3. My keyless entry isnt working! I got the program codes and everything for it but it still doesnt work. I heard that there is a digital and analog instrument cluster, how would i know which one i have?

I would appreciate any information that could help getting my cadillac better. Thx alot

Regarding #1. Without getting in to the possible problems, if you just purchased this car from the dearlership, they gotta fix it. If they can't you have remedies. They said the problem went away, did it?

Regarding #2 describe the burning smell, ie: oil rubber electric?

Regarding #3 digital/analog, this one is easy, just look at it.

1. i bought this froma dealership without any warranty so i cant really take it back. they said the problem went away when they replaced the wires. i didnt really notice this problem until maybe a week or two after i got it, so it mightve started again?

2.the smell is like burning something funny, mix of gasonline/oil

3. well i tried the program codes for the digital but it didnt work, so it might be the analog. how will i tell though which is which?

The difference between digital and analog is pretty simple. Analog will have gauges like a clock, and digital will just be a black screen with green letters and numbers.

Thx alot for the answers. Right now im jsut concerned with getting the keyless entry working and fixing this little transmission problem.

When i turned on my comp diagnostics these 2 codes came out:

PC0730 History
PC1560 History
then a all these came on one after another:
No IRC
NO ACM
NO SDM
NO TCS
NO RS
NO PZM
NO IRC
NO RFA
NO CCP

any ideas?

P0730 - Incorrect Gear Ratio
P1560 - Cruise Control - Transaxle Not In Drive

Both are related to you tranny. Try clearing them and see if they return.
