2003 CTS. new owner, few problems.
I have CTS with 78000 miles (V6). It was a great deal, but the car is far from perfect. The things that mainly concern me are:
1. Fuel gauge not working at all. I have read that it is most likely the fuel sending unit. And that there are 2 of them in each side of the tank. Is this true?
* also, I don't really know how to use the functions on the dash at all. But I managed to scroll past the mpg, ect. section and it all was blank. If that helps diagnose it.
2. How do I use the center console! That thing is confusing.
* I would like to know my oil and water temp, pressure, level, ect. The only thing I seen messing with it is the battery voltage. None of this comes up on the gauge cluster right?
3. There are a few things showing on the gauge cluster. How do I clear them or find the codes to fix those problems?
4. Exhaust manifold leak. I havnt had a chance to really take a good look, but is it involved to replace the gasket? Anything major have to be removed to reach the bolts?
