Idle and Acceleration Problems 2000 DTS

Default Idle and Acceleration Problems 2000 DTS
I've been experiencing trouble with the idle of my DTS, its cutting off while sitting at a stop light and during operation, and its accelerating on its own. I tried a major tune-up and replacing the map sensor. Neither fixed the problem. Any suggestions/solutions??

Carbon build up on throttle plate or body. Check for codes also.

Ok, thanks. I'll try that b/c now the "Service engine" light is on.
