Default 2005 rough idle and acceleration check engine now

For the last few months, if I am going 60 and step on it to pass, the check engine light flashes and the car gets jerky, didn't happen all the time, just once in a while. It's not a trans issue far as I can tell, feels more like it's running lean. Today same thing happens, but this time when I get to my destination, she was idling rough and the check engine light stayed on. Few hours later I go to leave, start and it's rough with light on, I gently drive it home 20 miles in the country and we make it home. I disconnected the battery completely in hopes of resetting the computer. Any ideas why it's so rough? I have 100,000 on it, just changed the oil. I had a similar feeling in my Denali and it was a fuel filter and pump, but that was at 180,000 miles.

It might be time to bite the bullet and visit your friendly local Cadillac dealer ( unfortunatley.)
