I have a 02 cadillac deville that buck and jerks upon acceleration between 0-30 mph. It only do it after the car has been driven for about 20 miles. There is no codes on the car. I had a misfire code on cylinder 1 but I changed the coil pack and that problem is solved. I have changed the egr valve, the fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs, boot, and the fuel fiter. I am lost. Can anyone help me out with this issue?

 

If you dont have or have access to a scanner to check data when concern is occurring, a trip to a repair shop or dealer maybe required.

 

I got it fixed. It was the cam sensor. The car onboard system did not pick it up but a scanner did.

I drive a 2005 Cadillac Deville and I am having some trouble with it bucking and jerking slightly when at a full stop (stop sign or lights). The care idles fine most of the time but will start to randomly or continuously buck and jerk. I just had it into my mechanic and he said that cylinder 3 was misfiring and he replaced a couple sensors and the spark plugs. This temporarily solved the problem but I am now back where I started. Any advice or someone else out there that has encountered this?

I have the same problem during acceleration. 0 to 30. I had a transmission maintenance done, tune up, 02 sensor replaced and oil switch. Have you had luck finding the issue with your Cadillac? 0 codes or engine light.
