Question How can I get the 4.9L engine started

I have a 1996 Deville, well part of one, I purchased this item at auction ans what I have is the front of the car from the A-Pillar forward. The rest of the car was sawed off from the A-Pillar back along with all the wires to the rear, I have the key and the column is still in place as is the dash and the two boxes on the right kick panel but when I put the battery in and turn the key nothing happens even the dash will not light. I was hoping to turn this into a trike. Is there anyway to get this bugger to at least turn over? I am good with cars but this has me scratching.
Thank you for your help

Default 4.9

If the back was sawed off what are you using for the gas?? You can always run a hot wire from the ignition to the starter for the turnover part.Sounds like the computer is still in tact.Be sure to check for fuel to intake and spark at plugs . The old fuel/air/spark routine. If the engine is in a sound condition she should fire.

OK I will give it a go, now to find a wiring schem for it as there is a whole bunch of wires on this puppy, must have been a sweet ride in the day. Gas will have to be with a can and a fuel pump out of the pick a part.
eng has 120,000

Well I did get the engine to spin with the starter now I need to figure out why the key will not spin the eng, I have the switch removed from the column, using a screw driver I can turn the power on and off and the AntiLock light comes on yet when moving switch to start I get nothing.

I used this link to get all the wiring information, then proceeded to check all the wires that were cut off to find which are hat and which are cold. It appears there are several bundles of wire on the left and right sides of the car coud someone tell me what the wires are for on the right side, also I am looking for a diagram that would show me how the wires are laid out in the car and also a book on the Cadillac wiring. What would stop this car from cranking over at the switch.
Thanks
Jim
