Default Fuel Injector Cleaning

Hi, All! New to forum. I have an '04 CTS V6. I drive lots of miles with my job and love this car. I just went over 100k. My dad says I should purchase "Greased Lightning" fuel injector cleaner and run it with my next tank of gas. I'm not sure. I have never put any additives or anything into my cars. Just been kind of afraid of it. Dad says I should get better mileage. I'm getting 22.25 on average and I run about 80 mph on the highway all the time. But, with gas prices.... Yeah, I know, slow down and it will get better. Probably not going to slow down anytime soon. Any thoughts on the Greased Lightning subject? Suggestions?

Oh, one more thing...I seem to go through more oil than I did with my Sedan Deville. But, that was about 7 or 8 years ago. Is it normal to burn oil in the CTS's?

Thanks!

How many miles does your car have?
What kind of fuel do you use?

High engine speeds will cause higher than normal oil consumption. Don't know about "Greased Lightning" so can't comment about it's effectiveness. A quality cleaner may help. A scan test monitoring O2 sensors and fuel trim may also show something needs attention.
