fiber optic indicator
I recently purchased an 89 Sedan DeVille, and immediately noticed that none of the fiber optic indicators were working on the driver side fender. A little digging found that they were all connected at the headlights and turn signal lamp. More digging revealed that all three are disconnected from the panel mounted on top of the fender. I can't figure out how to remove the indicator panel so that I can plug them back in. I have a factory service manual for the car, which indicates that there should be 2 nuts of some sort holding it in place, but the instructions for removing it, is to "carefully pry it loose." Does anybody know anything about removing these? I honestly can't believe that they would actually intend for people to shove a screwdriver between the fender and the indicator panel and pry it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
