Default event data recorder

Does anybody know a great technician who can disable the event data recorders on a new XLR and ESV or Escalade?

I'd like to buy these two vehicles but refuse to buy one with this "spy device" installed. I don't want my own car sending me to jail, especially if I'm not guilty of a crime and the edr says I am. I can't believe Cadillac has such contempt for privacy rights and the Constitution.

Naturally, I still want all the safety devices, i. e. airbags, anti-lock brakes, etc., to work properly.

Thanks.

Default RE: event data recorder destroyer $$$$

I will pay a minimum $10,000 to a qualified knowledgeable individual (preferably one in the automotive safety field) who will develop a device that will destroy the memory of an event data recorder after air bag deployment, and install such device on the new GM vehicle of my choice. Naturally, this device must: 1. destroy the memory such that it is irretrievable after the airbag is deployed; 2. must not interfere with the air bag deployment in an actual crash, nor interfere with any other vehicle safety systems; 3. must not cause additional injury to passengers after the crash.

Should such a device prove saleable, in my opinion, after its development, I would be willing to at least share in the patent costs and financially assist in reasonable costs to take the device to commercial production and sale.

For futher information, please pm me.
