Default Did I put my vehicle out of commission?

I feel like a complete idiot…last week I drove over a curb in a 1990 Deville at a slow crawl. Two days later, now I have trouble steering. I put fluid in and it lasted for a couple of miles, but now the reservoir is empty. I just looked out at the car and saw that there is evidence on the ground now of quite an oil leak. I realize the car is old, but it did not have these issues prior to going over the curb. Is this just coincidence, or due to the car being so low to the ground anyway, did I cause this? I feel so sick.

Could I have done this damage? If I did, why did it happen a couple of days later and not at the time I hit the curb?

get the car inspected for damage .. it may be just a oil line but it could be more serious.
