I finally changed my PCV valve since the Lac hit 100,000 and I decided to see what happens when I drive it hard and I hadn't done a WOT in a while so I got a great idea....I did a WOT, lol. I put in 2nd at about 50 mph, and I let the RPMs go to about 6000 for a second or two did it again and floored it in 2nd on a long secluded street to 5000 RPMS. When I was on the highway however, in the FAQ WOT thread it says "You can do it on most any freeway and stay within the 70-75 MPH range allowable.", however I hit about 85 - 90 mph at 6000 RPM, why is that ? And btw, is the new PCV valve supposed to help with gas efficiency ?
