GOT A WEIRD MESSAGE TODAY (SNAPSHOT TAKEN) WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? 2003 DEVILLE.

It means that your car took a diagnostic snapshot, saving the data it was reading to memory.... It's nothing to worry about. It will help the mechanic to diagnose a problem if one arises.
