I should have figured letting her sit for this long would have caused a rat's nest of problems. NOW... when I rev it in neutral or park it's fine, but when in gear, the car stutters whenever the throttle is 2/3 or more open. It's good if you start out like an old man, but if I STAND on the throttle and it kicks down a gear, I get nothing. No power at all, it just sits there and stutters. Also have this problem mostly @ the top of 3rd gear when i try to accelerate past 40mph or so, although not as bad, it just kind of surges then.
Does this sound more like a fuel delivery system or transmission problem?(please god tell me fuel-I can't afford trans work @ the dealer)
