Hi I'm new to this so please bare with me.I have a 2001 Deville,and I get a "service airbag"and airbag error on my dash.It doesn,t come on all the time but It does come on.If anybody has this problem could you please help me

 

Hi have you fixed your problem? I have an 03 Deville and my airbag light on the dash comes on all of a sudden. mainly when it is raining it tends to happen more often. any ideas?

You will have to provide a code to pinpoint the problem, but a lot of instances the belt pre tensioners go bad...also seen a few reandom sensors and aribags themselve go bad....so you need to get it scanned for codes. Be Careful when messing with the airbag system. If you decide to repair it yourself disconnect the battery for safety
