Default ABS Light problem

I have the 1998 Cadillac DeVille. I love this car and have owned it for 3 years now, but I am having a problem with Traction/ABS light going off. I replaced the left front hub, which was needed, but that did not fix this other problem. From a stop, it seems to trigger the traction control which makes the loud embarassing noise from take off. I can let out of the pedal and it catches up, but it needs to be corrected. Sometimes it makes the traction control light & ABS light come on, but sometimes it does not. There is no slip once the car is in motion.
