RE: 94 sls misses at low trottle....help.
1. replaced fuel filter
2. replaced plugs and plugs wires
3. replaced egr valve twice ( second mechanic thought the first egr valve might be defective)
4. no codes generated by problem
5. checked coils, grounds, vacuum leak
6. sometimes no problem indicated, car will run fine for a period of time, no miss
7. only happens between 1100 and 1800 rpm under load.
8. twice now when accelerating from stop making a left hand turn the car has died
9. noticed today that I have a coolant leak now.......
10. I hate it when you really like a car.....

I once had a car that did that. Mine was even worse since sometimes it was hard to start.
Other times it started fine and run fine. Spent a year and plenty of $ chasing the problem to
no avail. The mechanic had done all the things your mechanic has done and nothing changed.
Then he changed the coils at his expense, even though he had tested them as OK just a few
days before - problem solved. The theory is that the coils had a crack that we could not find and
moisture got inside from rain, car being washed, or even a foggy night.. We never
really found out how that happens, but the problem was gone forever.
He took a hammer to the coils so that not one of them would find a way into another car.
