87 Seville Horn and Telescopic Steering Wheel
I had to fix my ignition, got that done and after about 5 hours of fighting with the telescopic steering wheel to get the spring loaded lock plate back in we got the thing and now my horn doesnt work, we did forget to put in the big spring that pushes the steering wheel out rather than having to manually push and pull it when released though, does that have anything to do with a ground connection and would i have to remove the lock plate again to get it in? i dont mind it not being there, but i have to have a horn.
also, how the hell do you work with one of those telescopic setups effectively, every time we tried to get the lock plate pushed down it would slide the telescopic piece out and we would have to start over, we put a small bolt in to keep the pin in the center pushed to lock it but still it was too much force on it
