Default tilt Telescopic steering

Anyone know how much work is involved changing out a regular steering column to a teliscopic tilt steering wheel? I have a 1984 Sedan DeVille I want to do this in. I probably own the only caddy that does not have one.
Help ?

To get all the parts you need, you need to find 81-88 rwd tilt/tele steering column. Swapping column is not that hard. Swapping tilt/tele can be done also it you have experience O/H steering columns.79-85 Eldo/Seville column can be used if you your going to transfer parts.

I have a 1988 Cadillac Brougham. Smooth ride! I have found a very low mileage 88 Brougham parts car with the exact same interior... except the parts car has a beautiful leather steering wheel and mine is bare and cracked. I want that steering wheel but can not find the procedure for removing... It is not straight forward because the telescopic lever blocks the main retaining nut. My email address is Wright@Lankford.com. Please help ASAP, before someone else snatches that wheel!
