Default '86 fleetwood No fuel to engine

I have a 1986 Fleetwood Broughm (Front wheel drive) with the 4.1 (4100) Engine.

The engine would not start after a nornal drive. I figured out that there was no fuel going to the throttle body.
I can squirt a little gas into the throttle body and the engine will idle for a few seconds , then dies.In my repair manual it listed several steps to take to try to diagnos the problem.
1. Check fuel fump fuse
2. Check fuel pump relay
3. Replace fuel filter.
4. Replace Fuel pump.

I replaced the fuel filter with no results. I can replace the fuel pump but only want to as a last resort.

My question is can you tell me where the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay is located. I would like to check these before proceeding on to fuel pump replacement.I checked my fuse box and there is no fuel pump fuse listed. I tested all fuses and they were good. The repair manual does not show a picture or indicate exactly where these are on my car, but the elictrical diagrams shows.them. I looked under my hood for a relay box but could not find one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fuse box your looking for is under right side of dash,I belive relay is there also. There should be a label on under dash panel to identify them. There is a port on fuel line to throttle body,if you have acess to fuel pressure gauge it should read over 9 psi.,If pressure is ok check to see if there is 12v to one side of connector to injector with key on,if not check injector fuse,if present with test light connected to positive post see if test light will blink on the other terminal when cranking - no blink = ecm, ignition module, connections or grounds.Hope it helps

Your relay block and fuse block should be on the drivers side up under the dash. The fuel pump relay will be in the relay convienience center which is near the fuse block. The relay will be a little square about 1" on each side. The fuel pump fuse is sometimes in the trunk. Pull up your trunk mats and try to find a pink/ white wire. The fuse will be on this line. Also check to see if the fuel pump ground is good while you have the trunk apart.Good luck...........

Thanks for all the info. I did find the relay under the passenger side dash. I;m almost certain it's the fuel pump though because I do not here the pump start when I turn on the ignition. I'll post a follow up as soon as I'm definte abput the problem
