Default Fuel lines and filter = fuel leak

Ok i have an 84 deville, diesel version. On the top of the engine near the back by the firewall is area that I believe is the fuel filter. The fuel line is coming in here and I have a small leak were the metal lines run into the filter.

Are there small rubber/plastic gaskets whatever on these lines were they run into the fuel filter that may be missing? If so what are they called?

Or do i need to replace the lines + filter?

Thanks for any help--

Fuel filter is a rectanglar can a rear of intake manifold. There a metal line with a loop in it from pump to left side. The other runs front block mounted fuel pump along right side of intake to filter, some had fuel heaters made in them. The fitting are tapered,a little teflon tape on treads will normally take care of leaks.Back in the 80s added fuel filters/water separators where common .If this the case you will have find out who made it to get what you need you could try a diesel repair shop for help.Hope it helps
