2013 Cadillac CTS K&N Throttle Response Module
Hello all,
Thank you in advance for any information, advice or help being provided. A 2013 CTS Lux 3.0, RWD, has had the traction control permanently turned off for a more true rear wheel feel and function (it is reversable). Of curse by doing this links and ties into ABS and Stabilitrak functions keeping the cluster lights on. I'm aware like most modern cars/trucks along w/ the CTS have a built in lag for reasons blah blah blah. The mid and high-end performs well and is healthy.
Question being, will the K&N module work with that year/mod and will the computer or ECM go into some kind off fail-safe or bypass the module with the cluster lights being activated? The check engine line isn't or has never been on as a result of the deactivation. Is it possible the module doesnlt "talk" to or have any connection to that portion of the info center, ECM, OBD, etc
?
Thanks again, any info is appreciated.
Regards,
Marc
