The 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid 4WD is big, bold and unapologetic. It's also exempt from EPA fuel economy testing.

The 6.0-liter V8 is specific to GM's Escalade, Tahoe and Yukon hybrids. It utilizes variable valve timing, late intake valve closing and active fuel management to operate on four cylinders under light load conditions.
