Default 2008 Cadillac SRX 3.6L V6 LY7

This is my baby! Most of you are married or are dating supermodels. All I have is this and a dog named \"ODUM"! And I love them both! I recently started a GoFundMe. Because when my engine died I lost my job because I commute. And I can't get there anymore. Going through a lot right now. Thanks https://gofund.me/53cf0a84 I started a
I own a 2008 Cadillac SRX4 with the factory 3.6L V6 VVT LY7 mated to the 5L40E Auto.

My engine hit 160,000. miles and under by best efforts with consistent and regular oil and filter change, pcv mod, New coils, plugs, belts AGM battery front diff fluid change, tranny service, rear diff fluid change....etc! The engine died 3 weeks ago! If anyone wants to buy the LY7 to do a forensic evaluation as to why it died I'm happy to sell it to you!

But that's not my question. I'd like to remove the LY7 and install a 2016 LGX 3.6l V6 -used or reman. Question One: has anyone done it before? A yes or no is satisfactory answer! Question 2: As all engine swaps are unique and come with their own set of challenges like; engine angle- front to back/ pinion angle with tranny attached if possible/ clearance issues with frame rails, exhaust manifolds, alternator or a/c comp pump/ clearance between engine and the radiator. I get it!

Question Three: What engine mount should I use? or will I have to order some universals or use some other type from a different vehicle?

Question For: I wanted to use a Supermatic 6L80E AWD/ 4WD Auto Transmission. Why? Its a good tranny! Will it mate to the LGX? What are my transmission options?

* I also understand that I'll need a custom length front and rear drive shafts.

If anyone can offer any insight into this swap let me know.

Why did I choose the LGX over an LT1, a LS3 6.2L V8 CTS-V Supercharged, The New Cadillac twin turbo motor or build a custom small alum-block or a 252 cu-in Buick V6 Stage 2 q/ a Turbonetics CEA journal ballbearing 700hp turbo...!?

All excellent questions. But I have an answer! I can't afford them -- period!

I'm not here to have people tell me what can't be done. I'm here to see what can and if anyone's ever done a swap like this before. Thanks!
