This is interesting and may be unique to Cadillac or something may be wrong.

When I exit the car, the seats and the steering wheel go to the exit position. When I enter the car and insert the key the seat and steering wheel come to the driver position.

That all seems to work correctly, however, the following scenario seems to cause a problem.

I exit the car and the exit positions go as noted above.
I enter the car, insert the key and as the seat and steering wheel begin to seek position, I turn the key to start the engine. NOTHING happens.
Everything else works, radio, lights, blinkers, etc.

Now ... the kicker. If I wait 5 to 10 minutes. Turn the key and the engine turns and starts .......

Any ideas?????????
