Default 1996 seville wont turn over..

I got a 1996 cadillac seville sts. the problem with the car is while i was driving i noticed when i started giving it gas it seemed like the motor was cutting out like it wasnt getting enough gas or air so i stopped on the side of the road and it sounded like it was sucking alot of air in. eventually it died after having a really rough idle, it also was sucking in alot of air i check for any sort of air leak and no luck there, i replaced the mass air flow sensor about six months ago, i just bought a new idle control valve and it wont start. does anyone have any ideas of what it is before i start pouring more money into it?

Question

sounds like the timing chain may have broken?
You are saying it does not even turn over?

if the timing chains break the engine just dies, there is not sucking air or rough idling.

pull codes ...

i got the car to run today, i had to hold a glove over the tb cover to plug air from getting in but the only way it will start is with something over the tb preventing air from getting in.

Do you have any huge vacuum leaks?
I don't have any idea of why it'd get so air greedy but your problem sounds to me like a bad FPR..

engine cannot run w/o air.
if you cover & plug the tb and it starts, you got a major air leak somewhere.

either vacuum or intake gasket are highly suspects
