Hello I have a 2002 cadillac deville and I took the engine out to change the front and rear main seat now I did not have my air gun to put the pulley back on the front shaft because my compressor stop working so I used a hammer and a block of wood to get the pulley back on the front shaft, and now I have put the engine back into the car but It will not start, but it was running fine before I took it out? I also changed the camshaft position sensor and the upper and lower crankshaft postion sensor that I got off of another Cadillac but still wont start!

Balancer bolt has to be super tight because oil pump is not keyed on crank. It depends on bolt to "crush" everything tight enough to turn oil pump. Did you mess with timing chains? Ground wires loose? codes?

 

I was going to do the timing because I had the engine out and everything was right there and open for me to get to, and I was thought that if you have a engine out and you can get it, get it, but my money said something else and so I did not touch the timing at all, and all ground wires are all connected and good!

But thinks for replying any help is need!

 

Ok I cleared all the codes and then tried to restart the car but still wont start and some of the codes when away so here are the codes that are still in the car;

C1214 - System Relay Contact or Coil Circuit Open
C1248 - EBCM Turned the Red Brake Warning Indicator On
U1714 - Loss of Front Door Module to Window Motor Normal Speed Comm.
U1088
B0159 - Outside Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
B0249 - Heater/Defrost/AC Door Range Error
B0429 - Temperature Control #3 Rear Circuit Range/Performance
P0335 - CKP Sensor A Circuit Performance
P0340 - Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Circuit
P0385 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor B Circuit
P0532 - Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
B3832 - Window Position Sensor Circuit

The code B1327 and B3055 are not there anymore, but I need more help with getting the car started and fix.
