i have a 1992 sedan deville with 70k miles. it has an issue that when the engine is hot from highway driving or intown it will have a complete system failure. the car has had new plug wires ,distributor, all new injectors and three fuel pump replacements so far. today in a desperate attempt i replaced the distributor coil. what is happening is when the engine reaches full operating temp it loses all fire.

engine code pulled from dashboad was e.1.2 and e9.6 im assuming the torque converter error is occuring due to the engine shutting down while car is in motion. all ground wires have also been inspected and cleaned. please help has been 6 different shops including caddilac dealership work on the vehicle with no help. caddilac diagnostic claims grounding issue.

after replacing the coil and driving some the car falls completely flat when you try to goto passing gear. also give a code for coolant temperature sensor short circuit.. recently replaced this sensor and cleared this code. not that this error is back gonna try another sensor but last time the sensor was replaced it made no difference in the cars issue. has to be a simple solution all the mechanicals have been ruled out
