Hi guys,
Im new to this forum and im looking for some help i just recently purchased an 08 sts from a dealership about a week after owning it i noticed at around 45-55 miles an hour the car will buck 2-3 times some times more some times less, i brought it to the dealership and they said it was a misfire on #1 so they replaced the ignition coil, we picked the car up today and drove it home and its still doing the same thing maybe a little less, but none the less it still bucks and jerks. So since i really have little mechanical knowledge i am here to see if anyone on this board has dealt with this or would have an idea what could cause this or if a ignition coil would fix something like this or if the dealership is just dancing me around in circles. thnx in advance.

 

@arendina, it saddens me that the work performed on the vehicle hasn't taken care of your concerns with your STS. I recommend getting the vehicle back to the dealership and have them get this resolved for you since you have just recently purchased it from them.
