I have an 04 escalade with 90,000 miles on it. over the weekend it had to be jumped a couple of times. The battery is 3 years old so I thought maybe alternator? when I tried starting it over the weekend the door was open and the key would be out of the ignition but the radio, and dash lights would still be on. weird? Fast forward to today I tried to start it and all I got was a clicking sound. Then the same thing would happed, door was open and key was out but the radio was still on. On my final attempt to start it, it turned over and I let it run for a little bit. What do you think something as basic as an alternator or is it something electrical?
