Default stumbles on acceleration.

2005 cts 3.6. Stumbles hard on accl from start to about 2000 rpm. then accells fine. hot or cold. same thing. anything harder than very light throttle inputs and it bucks like a bronko. then above 2000rpm or so it's fine. Known issues: Timing chain rattles on startup for two sec until oil pumps up. Also getting a aooasional coed for one, or both cats. At 195000 I think I should put a new chain set in it. Stick with Cloyes? Or will the 100$ ebay ones work out?

Do not cheap out on the parts! It will take more than just the chains also. You will need the chains, guides and the new tensioners. You will probably find broken guides when you go in there if they are not broken make sure you replace them. What codes are in it?
