Default Eldorado with L62 engine

Hi all,

I just purchased a well meintained Eldorado with V8-6-4 engine.
The car is part of a legacy and comes from a collection and has 90000km
It seems to be in a good state and has been driven for approx 1000km during the last 4 years. In 2016 last mainenance work (spark plugs, oils, water etc.) was done.

Next week I'll bring it to my place which requires a ride of 100km. What I need to watch out prior to this ride? (Behalf of oil and coolant level of course)
Wolud you guys recommend to change oil adn brake fluid immediately?
And... what to do with the variable displacement system, keep it or deactivate it? Is it so worse as I sometimes read about?
It seems to me, that many people write about it but not much people really have ecperience with it...

Thanks in advance for any reply!

Kind regards
Urs
