Default Service Electrical System

Okay so I am kinda new to this. I just bought a 2003 Cadillac Seville SLS with 155,000 miles, only issue steering wheel controls:" cruise controal, temp, radio" do not work. Besides that, car runs great, about a month ago I replaced the power steering pump and the power steering line, after that the car had no flaws beside the service "air bag" light. I do a lot of driving since I live 4 hours from home and its my daily driver, today I was driving to class and the "Service Electrical System" message appeared. Any clue to what that would mean? Any help or advice would be great.
