I just purchased a 2004 SLS and would like to have XM Radio in it. When I push the PTY button on the lower right corner of the radioa message comes on the radio saying 'NoXM Service' or something to that affect. This tells me that the radio should be XM ready but when I push the Band button it only lists AM, FM1 and FM2. My question is what do I need to do to get XM to work?

 

You need to contact xm, they will tell you how to get the ID # and tell you about their plans. Not hard, you just need to sign up and pay. Good luck.
