had my engine light checked,sead my crank pos, sensors were bad so i replaced them both.the car barely made it out of the driveway,so i rienstalled the old ones back in .the car runs ok ,but still knocks .the engine light comes and goes .please any advice

yes pcm 1377@1560, but every time i replace the cranckshaft pos, sensor the car stalls sputters and backfires.

P1370 is cam sensor code. It is located on end of rear head on passenger side. Check sensor has not been struck by interupter on cam gear. Better describe knocking noise. P1560 trans not in drive-cruise control disabled - could be driver induced. Will require scanner to check out.

 

1370 never came up, only 1377. the knock seems to come from underneath .the more the car warms up the louder the knocks.

 

P1377 still relates to cam sensor, can set on its own. Need to better descibe noise, what it sounds like, engine hot or cold, under load or not, and frequency. You may need to take it to a shop to have evaluated
