Default Power steering hose

Just curious, I have a power steering hose leak from the pump to the rack. The hose is cheap, $48.00. My question, it seems straight forward, take out the old and install the new, but do I have to bleed the line? If so, how? Thanks in advance for any help.

All you should have to do is turn the steering to the extreme right and then to the left a few times to chase the air out of the system.

Hello,

I have the same situation as you did back in January. My high pressure power steering line is leaking. Were you able to replace yours? Just wanted to check on howdifficult it was to disconnect at the steering gear. Thanks.

Mark
