Great site guys. I have a 2000 SLS that just had new pads and rotors installed on the rear and new pads up front. When I picked up the car, the traction controll light and ABS lights were on. Mechanic says it needs new abs sensors but when I pulled the code (ABS C1235) indicates an open circuit. Any advice?

 

I'd say that the codes were generated during the brake job. Clear the codes and see if they return. If they do, return to the shop and demand a better answer.

Well my 99 sts is giving me abs and t/c lights not sure what to due i have all ready replaced the right rear hum and could use some advice i have also cleaned the connectors to the speed sensors. Anyway if anyone has a chiltons or a haynes manual for a 99 sts i would appreciate it if you would look that code up for me and let me know if i was right to change the right rear hub. Thank you.

 

cadilassie.... does your service stability system message appear? if so look at my threads...same happened to my 99sts, and they found poor ground connections. although they got code c1242.......
aside from that, have you had electrical mysterys with your's......

thanx rickd and yes no 1st gear which i was told was normal with no t/c anyways i dont have any flickering or any other issues with electricity but what else can you suggest i am going to get it up on a lift and see if that is what the issue is or maybe someone put it on backwards you never know? If you did anything else that i should try let me know if you could please and thx for the help so far i will let you know how it turns out.
