Default Brake lines, ABS, Traction Control

After Changing My power Steering Pump And p/s Return Hose thanks to everyone here i was able to do it myself and saved money, i decided to take a ride the next day andBOOM my brake pedalwent down to the floor. i was like man when i rains it pours. all the fluid leaked out. i decided this time to bring it to a mechanic. he changed both front brake lines. one was cracked and one blew. whatever i was like this is a 94 i guess this happens by the way he charged $250 bucks. Now When i drove away the Abs Light Is on and it says traction control deactivated. am i supposed to restart by taking battery cable off or something for it to go away? also this car 1994 sls doesnt have a traction button in the glove box and i never knew how to engage or disengage.thanks everyone
