On the Philadelphia Craigslist .

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1124207253.html

Comes with a Hard top. Additional information from the owner.

The car has 131000 on the odometer, with the drive train changed out about 60,000 miles ago. The car was a Springfield , Media car most of it's life. Ferraro Cadillac, did all of the warranty work on the car. I have the do***ents to prove that. As far as issues: the A/C was charged two years ago and has lost it's charge this season. The paint has a couple of clear coat hazy spots on the hood and trunk. Cassette doesn't work but the radio does. Every once in a while the on board diagnostic alarms with a fault during start up. Its never the same fault twice. I turn the car off and restart it and its cleared.

If the wife lets me...

1988 Cadillac Allante convertible - $3800

way too much, IMHO for a good running 130,000 car. This one is not even that.

that car needs another $3,000+ or so in mechanical & electrical work, not counting the paint.

I hate to say it, but that is a $1,500 car, candidate for parting.

Advice ..?
Look for a PHASE II car, 60,000 to 80,000 miles.
1990-1/2 to 1992, $4,000 to $8000, w/o intermittent codes, solid transmission, good interior.
