Default done with my 93?

A little while ago I got a call from Pa. I have been offered 10k for my 93 allante. She is pretty with a fresh 2000 engine put in under warranty, chrome wheels etc. If I do it I will be without a caddy for the first time since 1994. This is hard to pass up, I told them I would give the guy an answer by Monday 5pm. It wasn't for sale but .........................damn....................

$10k ? With the chromes and new engine .. and .. knowing how you maintain cars, not enough.

I say that with your knowledge of how brutal I am on prices of these cars .. not enough.
Even in ebay, you get more.

For that, wait a few more years and it will get there .. but .. you will still have it 'til then.

Of course, if the guy is family .. well .. it might be just right.
Bill w'be happy to get a 2nd one at that price .. one to either side of his Vette.

The guy just made it 10500. He want's the car so bad. It's not like I need the money but I said okay. She is gone, but she has a good owner. He knows he can come to this site for any questions. He has monitored AN for a little while now in case he ended up with an allante, but didn't like the atmosphere. Car already has fsm in trunk, really doesn't need a thing.

My plan was to trade the vette in for a z06 but maybe now a zr1 if I can get one.

Maybe now I will take the extra cash and look in to an sts or something.

This is worst then when I sold the el camino. I will be in mourning for the next few days.

GARY -

Well, at least you won't miss it too much - when was the last time you actually had it out?

Cars are meant to be driven... hopefully the new owner will get lots of enjoyment from it.

look at an BMW M6 convertible before latching onto that rather ugly zr1 (When will GM realize that if they appeal to something other than graying, want to recapture their youth, men on viagra, they might sell some corvettes to someone less than 50 years old), I was in a beautiful black on black M6 the other day - an incredible car. Unless GM rewraps the zr1 into something less juvenile than a 25+ body style that was dated when it came out, why bother. Ohhh, I forgot you can see the intercooler through the 'window' on the hood of the 'vette - talk about boy wanna be... blick.

Same price tag - $100,000 same top speed - 200+ (you need to remove the limiters from both cars).

No where near the same class.

Fox, your words ring true. I haven't driven her much but have owned her since 1994. Part of the family, even though I only see her once or twice a year. She will be the daily driver for the new owner except in the winter. I just wanted an American product. I will have to give the m6 another look see I guess. Time is on my side and these guys aren't selling a lot of cars right now. Will need to make the best deal over time. Thanks for the imput, I am not feeling so good right now, crap!@!@!

Ps Dear Wild Bill

Miami made the bracket as a 7th seed.
I never taken the pill, but I have heard that if you get one for more then 4 hours see a doctor, or call the emperors club.

Pss

will change signature soon, tired of lookin at it anyway.
