1993 Cadillac Allante from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
If the automobile sits in the sun and car temperature goes up, the doors refuse to unlock from inside and the driver and passenger cannot exit the car. This happened also on my 1991 Allante. It is a potentially dangerous situation.
Cadillac knows and has published info and manufactured a replacement part which can no longer be obtained. Should be a recall.

My only question has been"what if you end upside down with either hard or soft top on?" I believe we all know what happens to the window switches if you turn them upside down, The little "rocker" mechanismns fall out of the switch making them inoperable.
(What the heck, my top is never up when I drive the car)
