Default thinkin about getting a different fleetwood

I know this guy that has either a 94 or 96 fleetwood. It has 120k miles on it. From what i can remember it was inreally good shape. He had an accident and needs a new front end. A mech. he saida mechanicquoted him on 1.500.00 in parts. I drive a 89 fleetwood with 250k miles on it. I just had the transmission rebuilt about 100 miles ago that cost me 2k. The guy wants to sell the car for 900 bucks. Id have to sell my car before i could buy that one to have enough money. Do yall think this would be a good thing? What do yall know about the 94 fleetwoods? I like the fact thats its RDW, It has the Lt1 engine. And also what do yall think i could get for my car? I repainted it but it turned out kind of crapy but not to bad, has some hasy spots. 250k on org. engine about 100 miles on rebuilt tranni. no rust has tints new speakers in good shape for how many mileage.

describe damage? if the damage can be fixed by replacing sheet metal and dress up items, maybe ..
if you have to straighten steel structures .. nahh .. i'm not to keen of seriously damaged cars,
at any price.

the '94s seem to be worth 2x to 3x the '89s for similar condition.

looks like yours would bring around $1,000 - $2,000

It needs a new hood. New grill, It pushed the radiator right up to the engine but the engine is fine. The radiator looks fine just needs like some bolts to hold it in. And also the windsheild is cracked. The guy said that he dosent think the frame is bent but hes ganna take some more time to look at it. He was supposed to call me today on a quote for the damage. The headlights are all smashed. pretty much everything in the front pushed up to the engine.

It seems to me you would be buying a project. Why not spend the extra $ it would taked to fix this one and buy a car you can start driving right away? My 2 cents.
If you insist I would no9t buy the car until it has been to the frame shop. Car should be put on lift to check everything out by YOUR mechanic, not his. There could be more damage then meets the eye.

Good luck.

well i did it! i bought the car. Its sweet as hell, way better than my 89 fleetwood. I love the deatils they put into it. can you beileve its got heated seats. He had some cop lights installed and some 20 inch rims. I would say i absoultly got a good deal. Do all 94 fleetwoods have a LT1 engine? And im ganna drive it up on ramps tommorow, anything in particular yall think i should check out?
