Default cooling fan in 88 fleetwood

My cooling can starts and then stops within a minute whenever i start my car. I checked the motor and its good i also checked all the relays but im not sure if they were checked right. I also replaced the fuse already too. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with it? I cant figure it out and neither can my mechanic

What about the temperature seding unit going to the fan? The cooling fan doesn't come on until necessary...it may turn on for a few seconds right as you start up the car as default.

Have you let the engine get up to temp, and the fan still isn't coming on? I believe both fans come on no matter what if you turn on the A/C.

F.Y.I. The cooling fan for the radiator is larger than the condensor cooling fan.

Yes I have let it get up to temp and the fan still wasn't coming on. Turning on the air conditioner works though, so thank you. I wasnt sure how well it would work since it's never worked but it did today. And I probally wouldve never tested it either since I havent worked on it and it never worked so thank you for that too. Now I wont die of heat driving in 100 degree weather

If the fan(s) run w/AC on, that tells you the wiring, and relays are good. Since it is not working with just engine temp, it is most likely the temp sender unit, or the wiring for that. It's a possibility that the ECM is simply not commanding the fan on, but the more likely culprit would be the sender unit.
