RE: mods?
With big rims, a heavy truck and the weak 4l65e trans you have to be very careful on mods. One of the easiest is a rear mount turbo or supercharger. Just remember to keep the boost limited to 5 lbs and a good tune. You don't need horsepower but low end torque. The turbocharger is better on the trans and has fair torque increases at 2000 rpm and great at 3000 rpm. The supercharger route gives you great torque at 1500 rpm but is harder on the drive train. The 23's look cool but are a brig drag on acceleration.

RE: mods?
i just bought a 09 EXT, and havent searched yet for an intake. i likel;y will be grabbing a corsa sport for the truck, as i have the same exhaust on my silverado SS and my cobalt ss s/c.i have hptuners and have already licensed the new caddy. i bought a set of '08 18" escalade chromies with 2 miles on them that i threw on for winter. more sidewall incase wife rubs a curb. today i ordered a tpms trigger from tirerack, and rim swaps wont be a honking drag. i have the gmpp intake on my SSS, I hope the general sells one for this.
