Hello, I just recently bought an '03 Escalade that did not come with the Navigation system. I have since bought an '04 Navigation head unit with antenna and version 1.0 map DVD. How obsolete is this DVD compared to other versions available?? I've seen other versions for sale on e-bay. If mine is obsolete, what other versions will work with my system and which one do I wantwith the latest and greatest info?

Also, I see a lot of guys/gals overriding/ bypassingthe newer systems to have access to certain functions while in drive rather than park only.. Is there any tricks to enhance performance with the system I bought?? Appreciate any info... Thanks, Jason.

 

Hi, I bought Cadillac Escalade 07 with navigation system and USA/Canada maps. Because I'm living in Prague, Czech Republic I'm finding the navi DVD for Europe - could anybody help me? Is possible to buy it anywhere?
