Demo Mode
Purchased a used 2022 Escalade Sport Platinum from a Jaguar Land Rover dealer. After about a month and 500 miles, I’m getting a prompt each time I start the car asking if I want to continue in demo mode or if I purchased the vehicle. I select the later option and am finding connection problems to the audio, Sirius XM app, rear entertainment, and Wi-Fi hot spot. CarPlay works ok. Sometimes it all works, and sometimes it doesn’t. I brought it to the dealer and they were very vague but mentioned I need a new radio receiver, and they’ve ordered one but it’s in back order. When I left the dealer I logged into my user account and all worked well, but then I arrived at my destination, turned the car in and off, and I had no access to those apps or functions. Given I have a 16 hour drive on Saturday with two small kids, what do people suggest I do in the meantime to try and self diagnose and fix? Hard restart? Select demo mode?
