Default SOUND PROOFING & FIREWALL

Hi,
I'm currently trying to run 2 Guage power cable for my amp from the battery in front, but im having difficulty finding a hole big enough to get it through. I think I found the firewall (i think 1 on the left and 1 on the right) but they are jam packed with silicone and can't even get a tiny wire in. I also want to take out all the panels and carpet in the trunk and add reflective insulation used in homes (the same stuff as Dynamat, just $150 dollars cheaper) on top of the metal base all around so that my bass won't make the metal or the trunk lid rattle. Can anyone tell me if this will be bad for the car and where I can get the 2 Gauge wire in from the egine bay ? thanks a lot
I have a newer eldorado BTW

BUMP.
I went to go see again what I can do to run 2 Gauge wire on the right side of the car(the side the battery is on) and there is a tiny siliconed up firewall (parallel to the coolant tank) with some little factory wires in it, but not enough space to fit a 2 gauge wire. I took out the retainer from the right side and I seen that there were a whole bunch of wires running through it, I'm guessin from the hood, in a little compartment all the way to the right. I couldnt trace the wires any further than the glove compartment since it's sealed up there so im wondering how i can get wiring through it. Can i run the 2 gauge wire through from the battery through the car without drilling any holes ? i would really appreciate replies. thanks
