Default Power window and new felts

I am changing the window felts on my 76 El Dorado. The glass in the door (power windows) is in the way of a few screws that need to be removed. Does anyone know how to lower the glass/power window another inch or so to gain access to those screws? I don't want to start taking stuff off that I don't need too. Jeff

Remove the inner door panel all the way. Move the protective paper out of the way. Raise the window off of the bottom, halfway up or more. Inside the bottom of the door there are two rubber stops that are about 1" thick. They look like little hockey pucks and can be removed by hand, no tools. Once removed your windows will go down far enough to access those screws for the window felts.
