Question 99 ETC wipers problem...

Hey guys, I just got a 99 ETC and when i turned the wipers on they went up and down once and then stopped all the way up on the windshield. I got out my manual and looked up all the fuses that I could associate with the wipers and checked them..all good. Whats the next step on this? Is there something Im over looking? Any help is appreciated..Thanks, Dan

Unplug and reconnect motor both connectors. You could also check for 12v at 2 wire connector. You need a manual so as not to be guessing. There is a fuse for wipers.

Yeah I checked the Wiper 30 fuse in the engine comp fuse block. It also has a Maxifuse that's its associated with and I think a fuse back behind the rear seat panel. i checked em all.

Plugging and unplugging connectors didn't help? Do you have manual?

Just tried unpluging and pluging connectors and no go. I do not have a manual as of yet. One more question I have is that I think the ETC had the "rain sensing" wipers? Does that have anything to look into? I also attached a pic of a black box that hangs next to the rear view mirror...what is that? Thanks

That would be rain sense sensor. You will need FSM or Alldata to solve it.
