92 Eldorado 110000mi. Excellant condition
Driving on the Hwy and then: horn wont work, Power seat wont work/head lights dimmed when pwr seat switch was moved, power locks would not work, rpm/fuel/mph gauge would bump.

After replacing the Alternator: Nothing changed unless the car was off and then after the car was started and say you go to use the power locks...all the previous things happend.
However after about 8 attempts of turning the car on and off....everything worked fine
Two days later same thing..however this time just once and then everything worked fine.

Question: Does it just take a little time for the system to work itself out or was the Alternator not the problem? Any inputs....thanks in advance
