I have a 1990 Touring coup that backfires so bad that it will blow a hole in the muffler. I had my mechanic try to fix it but everytime i get it back it might run for a couple of days or a week then KABOOM the muffler is blown. The car will drive but every time the muffler is attached .... I 've gone though
2 new mufflers .... Is there a fix or has this car seen it last days .... everything else on the car operates ok ..... I think he has replaced the computer and some other stuff .... It been so lone hoping to get this fix I'm not sure what all he has done .... i love the car and don't want to junk it. Thanks in advance .....

 

What kind of codes have you been getting the last little while??
Did your mechanic adjust the throttle position sensor at all?? What parts in the distributor did he replace?? Post codes if you can.......
